Traveling during the holidays is completely exhausting! There’s no easy way to get from point A to point B (especially when point A is Washington, DC and point B is Florida). But, being prepared for whatever life may throw at you along the way can make it a bit more bearable.
Here are my seven must have items in my carry on for traveling, whether it’s a short flight to NYC or a long flight to Europe..
Noise canceling headphones – To drown out other passengers chatting (and screaming children that are always seated right behind you)
Snacks – I get hangry easily… having snacks is my way of staying sane because you know flying is never easy or fun
Magazines – What’s the best way to drown out the chaos around you? Mindless entertainment!
Gum – You gotta pop those ears somehow my friend
Chap stick – Planes always dehydrate me and my lips so I lather this stuff on like it’s my J.O.B.
iPad – For reading my latest ebook or for playing an addictive app… as long as it’s charged, you’re good to go!
Scarf – Having one of these is an easy way to stay warm on the arctic cold airplane and also doubles as a pillow for when times are tough!
What is a “must have” in your carry on? Safe travel during the holidays! Merry Christmas :)
