I’ve become quite an acai bowl connoisseur, if I do say so myself.
If there’s one thing I’m great at, it’s eating. I’ve been “judging” acai bowls all around Miami to find the best ingredients out there. (<- That sounds like a good excuse for the hundreds of dollars I’ve spent on them, right?)
I just can’t help it, I love them so much! And the plus side is they’re actually good for you.
Obviously not all of these ingredients go into one bowl, but they are great additions to any standard bowl. The moment I see one of these items in one, I instantly order it!
Matcha – I’m fairly obsessed with matcha in any form, but especially in bowl form.
Almond butter – It’s “healthy” and delicious :)
Chocolate nibs – Sometimes a girl needs some chocolate with her fruit.
Coconut flakes – A recent obsession that makes my bowl taste like the beach at summertime.
Figs – A power packed fruit!
Pomegranate – Fun little popping seeds with a delicious sweetness.
After all of this acai bowl talk, I’m starting to crave one again. Pura Vida here I come!
