The most exciting part about finishing a book is getting to pick a new one! And boy, let me tell you, my reading list is longer than my list for Santa (actually… that may be a lie… hehe)
I know I just blogged about a book, but I have books on the brain! It’s my inner nerd coming out :) Plus, since it’s starting to get chilly in DC, I’m preparing for Winter by creating a killer reading list (also I have my POPSUGAR reading challenge to complete)!
So without further delay, here are the 6 books on my Winter reading list and the reasoning as to why!
At the Water’s Edge by Sara Gruen – Remember Water for Elephants? Yeah, same author! Enough said. Must. Read. Now!
Fates and Furies by Lauren Groff – I (think I) saw this recommendation on PureWow (I’m subscribed to so many of those online email blasts that I can’t always keep them straight). Needless to say, I looked up the review and I was hooked!
Euphoria by Lily King – My boss actually passed this book along to me but not as a business read, as a fun read. I trust her recommendation, it has almost a 4 star rating on Goodreads, and I want brownie points for reading it :)
Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel – This book has been on my list for far too long but every time I go to delete it the summary sucks me right back in again. I’m determined to finally pick it up!
The Show by Filip Syta – I was given this book for free in exchange for an honest review, and let me tell you, I’m so excited to read it! With the phrase on the cover, “Sex. Drugs. Tech.” I was instantly sold! The book is available January, 2016 but keep your eye out for my review next month :)
Pretty Girls by Karin Slaughter - I feel like Audible knows me pretty well since I spend far too much $$$ on them each month. If Audible is recommending it as a “must read” for me (and it has such great reviews), it’s going to be read!
Have you read any of these? Or do you have any great recommendations I should add to my reading list?
