Want to know one of the perks about being an adult? You can have a little something extra added to your summertime ice pops :)
My sister is one of the best gift-givers in the world. She gets you the most thoughtful gifts that you never knew you needed in your life until you unwrap the beautifully decorated package to reveal something you instantly fall in love with.
She knew I needed rosé ice pops in my life before I did.
When she was visiting me last weekend in Miami she came with a full basket of gifts. Not only do I now have the best smelling mojito hand soap and adorable umbrella pillow for my couch, she also got me the cutest ice pop molds from Sur La Table (similar ones here).
Not to mention she came bearing a bottle of rosé, and somehow there was still some when she left :) You can’t let rosé go to waste, so this weekend I made rosé lemonade ice pops (a day late in celebration of #NationalRoséDay)!
You can pretty much make rosé ice pops with any fruit combo, but I decided to add in strawberries and a splash of lemonade.
Not to mention this fancy mold allows you to eat a whole one, or split off one side for a friend. Virtually sending you the other half, sister!
- Fresh strawberries
- Ice pop molds
- Drop 1-2 tbs of minced strawberries into each mold
- Fill up the mold 2/3 with rosé
- Fill up the remaining 1/3 with lemonade
- With a long spoon, give them a good stir
- Freeze for 5 hours
- Remove from mold and enjoy a mini vacation for your tastebuds
5 minutes to make, 5 hours to freeze, and a perfect 5 minute relaxing moment to enjoy (preferably outside by the pool).
What is your favorite summer treat?
