I will preface this by saying I’m a very big fan of Reese Witherspoon.
I’m not sure what did it.
Was it her flawless work turning Wild from a book into a movie?
Is it her amazing acting skills, even way back when in Cruel Intentions?
Was it the way she bounced back after that little drinking and driving incident? That was as impressive as Martha Stewart’s bounce back post jail. And extra points since she didn’t have to involve Snoop Dog!
Needless to say, Reese is a favorite of mine.
So I ask you, how on earth did I just realize that she has a book club? I came across this PureWow article over the weekend and was in ecstatic shock!
Looks like I have a new place to go for book recommendations.
I’m almost done with The Alice Network by Kate Quinn, which was July’s book of the month for #RWBookClub. My review is coming soon!
Reese is funny, smart, bubbly, sweetly southern, AND a bookworm?! Talk about #goals.
Also, did you know that Reese bought the rights to Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman, just like she did for Gone Girl and Big Little Lies? You know what that means!
What do you think of Reese? Will you give her book club a try?
