PHEW! My Christmas party and the other 3 holiday parties I attended have come to an end. I had to drink about 3 cups of coffee to get enough energy to write this post :) So here you go, my life lately!
Recovering from my holiday party! With 72 degree weather in DC, it was the perfect day.
The party consisted of cookie decorating, Christmas mad libs game (hit of the night, the phrase “flirty gnomes” won the prize), loads of appetizers using my new triple crockpot (obsessed with it, shout out to my aunt and uncle for this gift), and a photo booth!
The glitter wall of the photo booth was a great idea, until by the end of the night it looked like everyone had taken a trip back in time to the 90s with glitter makeup, outfits, and hair :) Well worth it though! Shout out to my roommate to captured most of these pictures as I ran around frantically getting ready and finishing my hair :)
Sweating again outdoors! I can’t believe I can run outide again for a few days! This 70 degree weather in mid December in DC is exactly what the doctor ordered :) It’s making me miss Florida a tiny bit less than usual.
Loving my new wine cooler! Seriously hardcore #adulting with this thing. Not only is my white wine perfectly chilled, but my red is as well (who knew you shouldn’t drink red at room temperature?) Review coming later this week on this bad boy!
Obsessing over LuLu’s! How did I not know about this online store before? Everything fits me like a glove. And today they are offering free 3 day shipping! Christmas has come early and I just ordered three more holiday dresses, arriving on Thursday, for free of course :)
Eating Maki, Maki, and more Maki! If you live in DC and still haven’t tried it, you’re missing out big time!
Reading At the Water’s Edge by Sara Gruen. I have 45 minutes left of the audiobook and, although it’s not quite as great as Water for Elephants, it has kept me quite entertained! Not to mention I love the British accent of the narrator (narrators seriously make or break an audiobook for me!)
Wearing my new Warby Parker sunnies :) and the boyfriend got a pair too! Never would I have thought I would buy a pair of these, but for 95 dollars how could I NOT get them?
Buying a plane ticket to Orlando for my best friends wedding in February! Words can’t describe my excitement (and not just because I get to escape to Florida during winter)! Swear :)
How was your weekend? I hope you got more sleep than I did!
P.S. Only 5 more work days until CHRISTMAS VACATION! Can you tell I’m excited?
