Last night I was CRAVING something sweet, but because I have no self control when it comes to desserts in my house, I never have any on hand. So… I had to improvise.
This simple (and healthy) treat came to the rescue! Cookie dough greek yogurt can be made in one minute, only makes one spoon dirty, and is made from ingredients I already have in my kitchen. Win, win, win!
– One container of non-fat greek yogurt
– One tablespoon of peanut butter (without hydrogenated oils!)
– One tablespoon of honey
– One teaspoon of vanilla
– Pinch of sea salt
– Handful of semi-sweet chocolate chips… or multiple handfuls :)
Step 1: Stir all ingredients together in the yogurt container
Step 1.5: As you stir your ingredients together, snack on a few chocolate chips :)
Step 2: Indulge in delicious cookie dough flavor without the extra calories and sugar! Plus this treat is packed with protein (another win)!
Next time I go to the grocery store I’ll have to make sure to pick up a few more non-fat greek yogurts to keep on hand… just incase I’ve had a rough day and I’m looking for/ craving something sweet again :) Let’s be serious… that happens just about every day.
